MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR
Jason “Rawskeleton” Toney has been dancing, competing, and performing worldwide as a Bboy since the mid-90’s.
An originator and creator of a style within Breaking known as The Abstract Style, he has been evolving the dance since the early 2000’s alongside his crew, The Freak Show. In addition to being an active competitor in the Professional Breaking Circuit, he has performed alongside major recording artists KRS-One and Harry Hudson, toured on Vans Warped Tour, and competed on America’s Got Talent and So You Think You Can Dance.
He founded Tricks & Blows in 2014 with a goal of bringing the style out of the underground and into mainstream dance. His mission is to inspire the next generation of dancers to take their style to new heights, learn to express themselves authentically, and chase their biggest dreams on the competition stage.
He currently serves as the Competitive Program Director as well as the Artistic & Cultural Director at School of Breaking in Aurora, Colorado. His students have won national titles and earned high ranks in Pro Breaking Tour, Red Bull BC One, and Youth Breaking Championship competitions. While wins are great, he encourages his students to be most proud of their growth, dedication, and unique abilities above all.
